The problem
A recipe site lives or dies on search traffic, and search traffic rewards a clear topic structure more than any single well-written article.
The approach
Categories — cakes, cheesecakes, cookies, chocolate, recipe ideas, plus reviews — were planned before the first article was written, with internal linking designed to build topical depth inside each cluster rather than scattering posts. Image optimisation, Google Tag Manager and AdSense sit on top of that structure, plus the legal pages a monetised content site needs.
Key decisions
Structure before content
Category architecture and internal linking were planned as a topic map first — individual articles were written to fill a known structure, not the other way round.

Outcome
A live, publicly indexed content site with a working publishing workflow and monetisation in place.
