About

The path here runs through physics, then electronics, then an engineering degree, then years inside real industrial operations — and it lands on building software for the people who run them.

Background

Container terminal operations — Tangier, 2019–present. Coordinating container flow across vessel discharge, loading and yard storage; daily hands-on use of enterprise operations systems for terminal operating, logistics, equipment control and block management; identifying bottlenecks and proposing data-driven improvements under LEAN; working across Operations, Planning and IT/OT teams. That's the operations background behind every internal tool on this site.

Earlier: biomedical equipment maintenance and troubleshooting — Tangier, 2018 (2 months).

The shape of the work so far

A content site in November 2024. A browser-based tool in April 2025. Then, between February and June 2026, four working systems: a booking platform, an organisation-wide HR system, a live operations tracker, and a second published content site. Content, then tools, then systems — each step larger than the last. The dates are on every project; the arithmetic is yours to check.
